I was asked to blog about my bush kitchen, so here we go.
My bush kitchen is outside behind my house. My Papa just rebuilt it after Cyclone Pam. They call it a bush kitchen because it is made out of materials from the bush. So my Papa went out in the bush and cut down big branches to make the frame of the bush kitchen. He then nailed it all together. It was quite a site to watch him. Then to keep animals out of it at night he but up big iron sheets (which are not from the bush) around it. Then he made a door. It is really nice. We spend a lot of time in there especially now that it is cooler because it is so warm in there. Here are some pictures:

Firewood: Class 5 cut all of this firewood for us. It will probably last about two weeks. |

Here is one of the cooking station. This is our pot that we boil water to take a hot shower during the winter months. |

Here is where I cook on the fire. My Papa took an old stove and made it to where we cook on the fire. It is pretty cool. Inside the pot is a cake that is baking. My Mama is the best. |
